Hungerford Arcade – Unit 44 Reynardine (Dick & Mel Henrywood)

Dick’s involvement with British ceramics began in the 1960s.  He has written and published several books on transferware, jugs and other collectables.  Formerly a consultant and auctioneer at Dreweatt Neate, specialising in pots and collectors’ items, he continues to research, write and lecture.  Mel has always loved textiles, decorative items and childhood memorabilia.  Their stock is eclectic but usually includes lots of pots, textiles, teddy bears and dolls, some boys’ toys and occasional railwayana, and selected quirky items.

In another life, Dick was an engineer and Mel a teacher adviser. They live in mid-Devon in an old railway station where their other passion is traditional folk song, music and dance.  Please see their website for more details about their life in antiques, railways and folk clubs – and do go and chat when they are in the Arcade.
